Van Gogh's Letters

The Royal Academy of Arts are showing a landmark exhibition of the work of Vincent Van Gogh. The focus of the exhibition is the artist's remarkable correspondence.

Over 35 original letters, rarely exhibited to the public due to their fragility, are on display; together with around 65 paintings and 30 drawings that express the principal themes to be found within the correspondence. Highlights of the exhibition include Self-Portrait As An Artist, The Yellow House, Still-Life: With A Plate Of Onions and Van Gogh's Chair (below).

This is the FIRST MAJOR VAN GOGH EXHIBITION in London for over 40 YEARS!!! this is a unique opportunity to gain an insight into the complex mind of Vincent van Gogh.

This is supposedly the most extensive Van Gogh exhibition ever curated!.. with his best collection of paintings on display!!

Please note: 2 hours queuing time, but totally worth it in my book.
